| Well a lot of bubbles got busted this weekend. i read an article about some rzr 900 that showed up at Gamis this weekend. and Smoked all the Turbo RZR's right off the trailer.... and as far a suspension , yall wondered how the three links suspension worked. Some guys had the best suspension money can buy on the S's and they said in the whoop's the RZR 900 blows right buy them. they were sitting still, they said that shit works..... They said its crazy fast, Just Saying.... | |

| Sounds like a great machine from what I have read and seen. I believe it's meant more as a wide open Baja or dune machine. I don't think the size is that big of a deal most places. It will have limits on some of the trails. Fast is one thing I keep seeing. I bet it's crazy fast. But I don't need fast myself. Heck I rarely ever get mine over 35 or 40 mph. Most of my ridding is below 20. The trailing arms are gonna be the biggest problem with it for our type of ridding. I see it hanging up on some of the bigger logs and rocks. And the price tag will stop some people including myself. When you look at over $20,000 just getting started with the mods. That's just a little more than I want to have in a play pretty running through the woods. | |

| Man dual exhaust looks like it will be a pain to engineer and install.
The rear part of the frame looks like it is totally new. So much for me installing this engine in my frame.
Snorkels should be an easy thing to do.
I see issues with timber riders and the belt housing. That plastic cover will never last on the trails I ride.

| one down side i see is , if you had to change the belt in the woods. you would have to jack it up and remove the left rear tire. that would be a pain..... | |

| Thats a bored out 850 sportsman motor the one people have been waiting for them to put in a rzr for 3 years, so this is just what the sand fleas have been wanting. I like it but i think our rzrs are better suited for where we ride.
Ritchie will most likely be selling them for 15100-15300 for the plain red one, that about what the discount them when they first come out. But if its like the 09s model, he had already presold his first units long before he got them and it was 6 months before he had any others to sell. might not be that way with this higher priced one. I dont like how all the rear axles and arms are just out there we would rip that shit all out where we ride.

| I agree, they really do not protect the rear from the factory. Guess they have shields that just add to the price.
I m not sure about the belt housing, but looks to me like it can be removed on the trail without having to remove the tire or the shock. But, that may just be my tiny hands talking.

Might want to double check on that deal, cause when i talked to Jeff yesterday, he said he couldn't even price them yet because polaris hasn't sent him a dealer cost invoice on them. But he said he would have some XP 900's coming in next week but he didnt say which model they would be.

The Holz kit is nice, when your ready to purchase call my friend Tim! (Swingarm) from TagTeam and tell him Flash referred you! You crate your motor and send it to him, he does the build and ships you back the motor, works out great unless you want to do it yourself? He does sales and installs and knows alot about there kits.

That's not what I heard? I heard there is a parking brake built into the shifter and when you put it in park the parking brake activates? Just what I heard or read.

| Hey Guy's!!! long time since I've been on here, sorry for that.
I had the pleasure of driving the XP at Dumont Dunes on monday while filming a 3D special for the discovery channel. "I was wearing my So. RZR riders shirt!!" That thing kicks ass, don't be so quick to assume it is just for us sand fleas..lol This totally new motor fly's up any dune and is very torquey and smooth. It would be a blast on the more open trails and hardpack that you guys ride. I remember all the non-believers saying the rzr4 was too big and wouldnt do good on your trails ..but I was right on yer asses!!lol
you all know me and HP....I can honestly say that the new xp runs as strong as a turbo'd 800, if not stronger. I will be getting one after I sell the bullit. I'm betting an easy 170hp out of this new motor with a turbo.
Flash and I will hopefully ride again with ya'll this year
