I just read a head to head comparison article in Dirt Wheels(IIRC) between the 2011 RZR S and that Can Am thingy( ) with the big engine.
The RZR S faired quite well to be so far down on power. That Can Am is a pig. The RZR's power to weight ratio isn't too bad. The RZR S was basically the best in everything except all out drag races. It took a bit of a hit on comfort and cargo but definitely didn't get beat up on that one.

The absolute only thing a canam 1000 has over a rzr is top speed and bed size, not very important to us sport trail riders.

Didn't seem very important to the testers either.
They did say they thought the Can Am was the best looking UTV on the market. I think it's kind of ugly but that's just me.
