| You may buy in Ga. and not pay sales tax for Tn. But here's the catch,If you live in Tn. and do not have that little sticker that indicates you have paid sales tax you can be in trouble..
I have a brother who lives in Ga. and I thought I could use his address and not pay,but after talking to a person that had been checked(Although I have never been checked) I decided to go ahead and buy here..You can buy in Ga. but you will have to pay the difference in Ga. and Tn. sales tax to get the sticker or risk being caught, fined and then paying the tax..Just saying!!! |

I am 55 and have rode dirt bikes and ATVs all my life here in Tenn. I have never had anyone look for the sticker on anything I have ever been on. I have been asked for my hunting license by the TWRA when I was on WMA land but that was it. Nobody I know has ever been checked. You may have had a different experience but I would bet the vast majority of people have never been checked and never will. I don't have a sticker on any of my 4 wheelers or side by sides and don't plan to.

The twra just doesn't enforce it here. I have friends in west tn that rides on a small wma area there and you get a ticket if you don't have the TDS sticker.

| What i meant is you would not pay any ga tax, of course if you live in a title state you will have to pay taxs there when you register it. Im not surprised ritchie isnt discounting them much as fast as he is selling them, but they will come down later. The ga. dealer has the best deal if you can get one. | |
