Guys I have decided to chop my stock cage. I think the tube is 1.75 Dia. and .08 thick , is this right ? What Dia. tube do I use as an insert to re-join the cage where I cut it ? 1.625 or 1.5 ? Oh and will an 85 amp welder do the job ? I have that welder here but will have to bring a larger one home if it wont be big enough. Thanks , Scott

the bars are 1 3/4
the tube you put in side for the sleeve needs to be
1 5/8 OD. just tap it in.
85 amp will work. but if you have a bigger welder.
i would use it....... 431114
