Was that Bama-S (Lee)? If so, I will have to give him a hard time about it.... 729242

I am not impressed with the XP...overall, its like a fish out of water around here. Too much machine for most trails and not as nimble as the S. I am passing on the XP for now. Just going to wait and see what comes next. 248474

Ok, i like the look, and the power , but in what ive seen so far they have more cons than pros in our type of riding. Width and trailing arms are not siuted for where we ride as the S model is. So unless Polaris decides to reconfigure one with a-arms and not as wide im not a buyer.

Rode with two at Brimstone a few weeks back. They both struggled to go places a S would fit. Have to say that I have never seen Bighorns spin so fast!

[i]rode for 2 days at windrock didnt break anything and never turned around, they are wide thats for sure but it didnt stop either of the ones in our group. every machine has some downfall but the X is a Bad ass machine, Black trails for 2 days, zero breakdown or no go. those little wish bones are Cheap to fix so thats not a game changer or a reason to avoid it.

I havent rode with one yet.....but I believe I remember lots saying the 60' wide S would be a problem in our type of riding. Anybody else?

There were two XPs that raced in the Windrock Wide Open race last Saturday. The red one led for one lap. Then a S passed him and ended up winning. The red XP came in second. I didn't see the white XP finish and an S didn't finish, one wrecked and the other had a flat not sure which was which. But, the XP was stock and the S was set up for racing only. The roll cage was really low and looked like the seats might have even been lowered and the front wheels were layed down so it would corner better. The S passed him on a straight section and pulled him pretty bad.

I was a safety spotter in the Race, the Red XP was passed in a corner by a Far Superior Driver..423Cowboy on youtube. The Red XP driver was out classed when the flag dropped, the White XP had some sort of engine problems that slowed him down for a few seconds, it came back and ran fine...

here is the Video of the Pass...you will also see Badride being chased around the track...

Having put about 100 miles on mine now, I can say that I really like my XP. I will say that it is really wide for some of the trails that I have ridden on before but have always found a way to go around to make it work. I also think that the XP would benefit greatly from power steering in the woods. With that said I think that the power that is generated by this stock machine is awesome and you seem to forget the few negatives about the machine when you step on the throttle. I have put my XP in some tuff spots and it has performed as well or better than my S did. The ground clearance is very impressive. The wheel speed that it delievers is truly impressive and after lowering the tire pressure from my dealership (38 psi) it will go places in 2wd that amazes me.
Do I think its the best machine ever bulit...No ......Do I think that it is a really good machine with tons of power and good suspension that will cause white knuckles and butthole puckering and at the same time make your face hurt from smiling so much...YES.

Zbroz raciing has a nice trailing arm kit for the XP...gives a lot more clearance..

I absolutely love mine! 3" lift, 30" tires, power steering, skids everywhere that haven’t been touched after riding several red trails at Brimstone. my face still hurts from that ride!! I haven’t smiled so much since I first seen paradise by the dash board lights!
