| I was installing a new skid plate on a XP with 150 miles on it and noticed the carrier bearing for the drive shaft had locked up and had eaten all the rubber out that supported it. No dealer had one in stock, had to order one. This may be an issue on the XPs for riding on the east cost where we are going through mud holes. | |

| It didn't look to me like the bearing was a sealed bearing. I am going to check the numbers on it and measure the shaft. If the new bearing I ordered is not sealed I am going to find one that is and make a new holder if I have to.
I was able to ride Saturday but only thanks to Tractor Supply (and Archie for selling me a lathe) They stock pillar bearings that fit the shaft. The only issue was that it wasn't as wide as the original so I had to make a spacer on the lathe.

Don't forget, it has an 800 Can Am Outlander motor in it. It is a Yam Am or Can Aha or Can Yam or Yam Can, Out Yam, Out Aha, Yam Out, Yam Lander I just can't make up my mind what to call it.

| I read where it's the same part number as the 2010 RZR4 carrier bearing. | |
