Beer and Pilgrims

We probably would not have Thanksgiving if the Pilgrims didn't run out of beer. They ran out of beer and cut their journey short and headed for land. The Mayflower colonists decided to settle at Plymouth because they were running low on beer. In an age when so many have lost their moral compass, it's comforting to know that people in the old days had their priorities straight. I bet the indians and pilgrims partied hard at that first feast. Happy Thanksgiving!
