| I know it will take a while to type, but can all of you give me your ideas of the best routes from Windrock main office to Brimstone event location? I read a load of posts about this and found so many ways to go that I was confussed.
Or if you have a GPX file with the route then I can do it that way. I have a very large file that includes (to my knowledge) all trails for Windrock, Brimstone, Royal Blue, and more. So, if you type it out, just use trail numbers and comma's (i.e. 21, G1, G5).
Thank you very much. | |

| I know that if you are going to be on any WMA land then you are going to need some type of permit. Since I am a resident of Tn. I can use my sportsman Hunting license. | |

| You can go to cumberland atv riders forum and buy Dans gps files for the entire Winrock/Royal Blue/Brimstone riding area, you will need a garmin GPS, there is an app on there where you can put them on google earth, you can see all the trails and plot your course. Really neat..You can ride from WR to Brimstone by mostly gravel roads and be there in an hour or so or you can take mostly trails to get there, but it will take alot longer..if you are coming on memorial day weekend for the Brimstone event, im sure someone on here will be riding from WR to BR that weekend, you may be able to hook up with them...i would be doing the ride, but we will be camping in Brimstone that weekend...Alot of the trails/gravel roads are unmarked in the WMA, or not marked very well, its easy to get turned around...just keep heading north..LOL | |

| You are right, I have Dan's GPS file and it is freaking great. When I had my old Garmin Vista all the trails would not fit on the GPS even with a data card.
I figured there would be other at WR that plan on going. Just did not want to step on toes till it is anounced. Even if there is, I will just look at the file and figure out the gravels. | |

| The fastest way is to run G6 (Windrock) to Hwy 116, turn right, go about a mile or so, turn left up the hill on the gravel road across from the coal washer. Take a left at the top of the mountain, stay on that main road till you come to T1 (Brimstone) on the right. | |
