Got my tag.

I never went to the tag office, I hired a title service company in AZ. Call Robin Pendergrtaft 1-623-581-8281 ext 12 with Sierra Title Service. She will email you the paper work, you fill it out, get it notarized, mail it back to her with a check and she gets the tag for you. There is no inspections or requirements. You have to have insurance and give her a AZ address. The address is never verified and is only used to put in the DMV data base. She will mail you the tag where ever you want it. It took about 10 days.

So when are you taking this trip?

Probably this spring/summer, I want to rent a beach house at Carabelle, FL, send my wife and son down with the truck and trailer, then I will ride the rzr down. If it takes 2 days that is fine, I plan on renting a house for a week, then trailer the rzr back home.

Anyone interested in doing this with me let me know. I rented a 8 bedroom house on the water down there 2 years ago so the more the merrier. We can take day trips into Tate's Hell and do some exploring with the rzr's.

We can start on the trail from my cabin in Ellijay.

Looks like fun. How many miles is it? Looks more than 2 days of riding there.

Guess it depends on where you start. We are looking at 400ish miles, one way

for over 400 miles....

I can't take credit for that route. Some members of ADVrider, a motorcycle forum I belong to came up with it. They designed it for small or large dual sport motorcycles.

Sounds fun. I think I would try and find some BF Goodrich all terrain tires or something close to them,that much road travel would wear out a set of utv tires.

Hell I would be tickled to get my tags too. I have done everthing I could think of to get them No luck. I have put brinkers, mirrors. full body harness, car windsheild, front and rear bumps. And proof of insurance.

In Murfreesboro Tn. the city police dept. has two Rangers XP's they can not get them either. I went to the MVDEPT. and tried to get tags for it.
The lady said I could get a Medum speed tag for 44.00. This is for top speed of 35mph and under. She asked how fast it would run. After I told her it would run 55mph said she did not know what to tell me. I started just to lie about it to get the tag. She reminded me that this is a afidavit type form. CAN YOU SAY JAIL TIME FOR LIEING. No thanks

She said i can not tell you why they don't have a tag for it. You have everything a care has on it.
She said you can go faster then most electric cars. I guess if I paint it green. You think I got a chance?

I asked her how the police dept got around it? She could not tell me how they gotten aroud it.

I took about an hour or so with her. She was very nice and tried to figure it out. She made several calls to Nashville THP. MVDept. No Luck.

I have several cop friend they have said they don't under stand why you can't tags for them.

Better yet one cop told me how can I give you a ticket your legel to be on the road. It's not your fault they don't have tags for it.

I have put a triangle type SLOW MOVING VEHICLE sign on the back and have not been stopped yet!!!. Have had several County, City and THP to pass me by on sedairy roads.

Looks like to me if a dang tractor can run up and down the road why can't we.

If I get a ticket for not having tags I will see a judge about it. Looks like to me Police have to have them too.

Randy, call Tonys Toys in athens Tn and ask them how they get them, i was behind his group back in the summer at windrock and most every one of them had a tn, cycle size tag.

There's quite a few guys that have just signed the affidavit to get their medium speed license. It's relatively low risk or them checking up on it but it isn't a risk I've been willing to take.

I would wait to send your wife till you were halfway. Would suck for her to go 300 miles back to get your broke ass!
