| I saw a truck with 38s buried in the monster hole on the lane Sunday. I stuck around long enough to see it get about half way up the doors. He is gonna need a dozer to un-stick that one. | |

| Tony,
My carrier bearing just went out too with less than 400 miles. It is a terrible design that uses cheap chinese crap. It doesn't even have a grease fitting to prevent failure. Apparently, it is a very common problem. The bearing locked up and was causing the rubber casing to spin. This resulted in quick development of a bad vibration that sounded like a tire rubbing the fender. I removed mine yesterday, and am going to replace with a sealed pillow block bearing that has a grease fitting. There is no way I would replace it with the PoPo version. Let me know if you want to take a look at the replacement.

They must have some die hard sand flea in their design department, picking out parts to use on them. should fire his ass and get a east coast guy with SAC to design things.

| Apparently, they changed the design on the 2012 models, but I have read that they are starting to fail too. One thing I read was to drill some extra drainage holes in the skid plate. It is definitely an area that holds water/mud, so I am sure that increases the probability of it going bad. I am going to take a small hole saw and put few extra holes. Hopefully, that combined with the better pillow block bearing will prevent any issues for a lot more miles than the original. | |

The dealer told me that extended warranty doesn't cover any wear items, like brake pads, bearings, bushings, tie rods, tires etc.I saw an extended auto warranty one time that even said internal engine parts were not covered because the engine was a wear item.
