Hard to shift 2011 RZR XP

Anyone,

I just purchased a used 2011 RZR XP with about 700 miles and it has the 3 year extended warranty. I have noticed, that sometimes, when sitting on level ground, that its very hard to shift into gear. I had a RZR S, it it was nothing like this. The dealer tells me that this is normal on the 2011 model. Does anyone know if this is true? I would liek to have this fixed if not. Does anyone know what could be wrong. its hard to shift into any gear and then back to park. Just takes a lot of force most of the time.

My father in law has a 2012 xp and i noticed it is also hard to shift compared to my 2012 S.

Shouldn't be hard to shift on level ground.

My 2012 XP is hard to shift. Dealer said it was normal but it don't feel right.

I don't think something being hard to shift should be normal...
just my opinion. there should be a reason for this....

Depends a lot on what you consider hard to shift is it just slghtly harder to shift than a S or so hard u can barely get it to go into gear

It takes more effort than the RZR S, but its not overwhelming difficult for me. It just feels like it shouldnt take that much effort. I released the cable at the tranny, and the cable moves in and out smoothly. I really like the XP, but I guess this is just one of the many quirks of having a RZR. Done got a fortune in this thing. I'm almost ashamed to spend that much money on something Im taking out to the woods to thrash around! Oh well, its a hobby.
