[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I drove one last week & they ride great & have tons of power (positives) They also have a jacked up 4wd system compared to a Polaris & I looked like I'd been dipped in mud ( negatives) I really think Can Am will get it figured out though! |

| Yeah, I agree, I am making some fender flares this week. I plan to install the QE front diff before winter. I still don't like the body being so wide on the Maverick, (I like the RZR body much better) the heat off the motor will be a LOT worse in the summer. On the other hand I didn't like having to work on the po po every week. It was always something every week, wheel bearings, brake pads, a-arm bushings, trailing arm bushings, or tie rod ends. I didn't think the Maverick needed power steering till I got into some really tight trails and tried to run them fast. Power steering will be here next week. I can tell the Maverick has more power even though I couldn't stand on it a lot, yet. The biggest thing I will miss about the XP is the body width. I had much rather have a narrow body with wide flares as to have a wide body with narrow flares. Some of the places our group gets in will be HARD on the Mavrick body! You hear people saying the Mavrick has more room. Well, that depends on where you are looking. Yes, there is more room between the seats but just try to find a place to mount a heater or 2-way radio under the dash. There is NO room. Oh yeah, I put doors on mine before I ever rode it. Talk about a joke! There is NO metal support to attach the latch to except where the door net is mounted. That makes the latch so far away that the latch post is VERY flimzy. But I will say, the Maverick will turn in under the XP (more weight on the front wheels due to motor placement) where the XP will try to push through the turns. When a company makes a perfect one, I will be the first on the list to buy.
I bought it at Mountain Motorsports in Sevierville. $17,600 out the door, the other shops around here were anywhere from $18,720-$19,390. They were not even close. I also purchased the 4 year warranty (after market) for $1,100. If I don't ever have a claim I get all my money back. I figure unless it is something major I won't file a claim. I just want it in case of a big problem.

No shit! I am still pissed about that. This week I installed the UTV inc front A-arm braces, and tie rods. I also installed the power steering. Tomorrow I will install the frame bracing for the rear arms and mount my two way radio, storage box and chain saw. I still don't like not having room to mount things under the dash!!!!!!!!!!!! I
