| Brand new, still in original box Alba exhaust. $400 plus shipping from 37840. Or, you can pick it up in Etowah during the week or Windrock on the weekends. Below is the link to it on the Alba web page. I don't need it as I have changed motors. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| I put 250 miles on the XP1K then pulled the motor out and sold it with clutches, gauge, wiring harness and ECU. I bought a Arctic Cat Z1 turbo motor. (Actually the motor is made by Suzuki) Then I bought a kit from Hawk engineering to install it with. He installed the head studs, had the ECU for it re-programed to turn the boost up so it will make 265hp. I can turn it up to 330hp if I want to run race fuel but I don't expect a need for it. I have the motor bolted in but still have to route the hoses for the intercooler and wire it up. Then I have to paint the front bumper, rear bumper and cage I built for it. It will be a few weeks before I get to drive it again. They blocked Photobucket here at work so I can't post any pics. I will try to start a thread on it when I get back to Oliver Springs where I have access to post the pics. | |

| What good is all that. The whole drive line of the 1000 is not capable of holding the stock motor... Everything breaks like hell , the axels are like tooth picks and the belt shreads off of them stock. So how are you going to be able to hold all that power. Hell its going to be broke more than you will be able to ride it... I guess you will be fast as hell for a few mins..... | |

| I don't think it will be that bad. I don't plan on hammering it in the rough stuff anyway. At least no more than usual and I am not bad about breaking axles or diffs. As far as the belt situation goes, I already have a STM secondary and the Z1 primary (may buy an STM for that too) so that lets me run a lot bigger/thicker belt. This motor is a LOT more dependable than the Poo Poo motor and that is another reason I changed. | |

Not hardly, I just don't do drugs, not married and my only kid is grown so I get to spend my money on toys. I didn't work on the XP last weekend, I went riding. I will stay in the garage this weekend and work on it. The motor is bolted in place and the intercooler is mounted. Since the XP1K is throttle by wire I still have to install the pedal and cable from a 900 4 seater. Hope to get that done, hook up all the intercooler hoses, oil lines, fuel lines, oil sump and get started on the wiring this weekend.

It is a formula to not be sitting in chair wishing I was able to get out and do things I didn't do when I was younger. Don't save all your money for living till your 100. Much past 75 and you are not able to get out and do a lot any way.

| Roger , they want 16 grand to do the swap. How much can you just by the motor and parts if you do it your self. I just wonder how much there charging in labor to do all this.... They say they can do a complete job in about 2 weeks. | |
