I'll remember that for the next one, the motor has a good growl, sounds a lot better then the old 800. In the vid at 1:32 you can hear it good over the music.

Polaris had to know I would remove the sway bar, they made it real easy by putting it right on the back. Also removed the warning stickers off the dash and it was real easy, they just pulled right off.

That sway bar looks just like the one that came on my S.....  431114
They work much better without the sway bar , took mine off after the first ride , never
looked back.

I went to the dealer today and found out that the cargo box is totally different for the 900S. The S box would not line up so I had him order me one of the new 900S boxes. Also the door bottoms have a different part number so I suppose they will not fit also.

I also installed the EMP over head bag, this bag is pretty cool with lots of zippers, a cell phone pocket, and two rods going from side to side to keep it from falling down in the middle! And with it being over head it should see to much mud and water.

I also installed a couple QuadBoss grab handles!

I also tried the QuadBoss UTV Cover. Which fit with room to spare.

Nice review Neil....  431114
one thing i was wondering. on my 800 S low gear is real low for crawling.
I like that. is the 900 S low gear as low as the 800's was ..... 248474

And you keep saying bike , A bike has 2 wheels....  lol!
it is a Buggy......  431114

The sand fleas call them a Car...  Rolling Eyes
But we know sand fleas don't have good since anyway....  lol!

Yea I am bad for calling them a bike! lol

Low seems geared a lot better but it could be the power that makes it feel that way, it crawls a lot better than the 800. The clutch engages faster (more of a positive engagement so it doesn't slip on the belt like the 800) and at a lower RPM. with all the extra torque if not careful crawling on hills it will blow out the tires. I am loving it, it is far above my old S. The sway bar is going to take some getting use to though, I may have to stiffen the shocks or put it back on if RacerTech doesn't come out with some springs. This thing has a lot more body roll than the 800 did with no bar, It doesn't take much to get it on two wheels but I think the extra power plays a part in that. The 800 wouldn't "throw" the bike around like the 900 does.

I'm not so worried about body roll , i don't fly around corners. i want a comfortable ride.
and most important articulation for climbing over stuff , Thanks for the info.....  431114

Installed the Racertech xp1000 bumper today. the instructions call to mount to the front diff bolts but the 900 s has a different diff so those bolts didn't line up but the frame has the holes for the 1000 diff so with a couple extra bolts and nuts along with shortening a couple small screws to clear the plastic ( didn't want to scratch it installing) it mounted right up. Also installed the headlight eyes! What do you think?

you had on it....  Very Happy

Here's a couple more Pictures of the RacerTech,  I'm still undecided of which one I like better.. lol Both bumpers are well built and both are pretty heavy but the EMP is heavier which is expected it being a winch bumper. The RacerTech takes a little more time to install due to all the little bolts. Both have several bolts but the RacerTech has a couple more due to the black grill inserts. I think its mostly personal preference about which one you like the looks of better. I think both look great and will do what they are suppose to.

Chris I like the EMP and the RacerTech, I just wanted to get pictures and video of both up on the website because they seem to be the most popular.

I would say if you were going to run the winch in the stock location , I would run the racertech....  431114
If you want to winch up on the bumper , run the EMP , Both look very nice..  Wink

Had a great day on the trails today and other than a plastic body rivet popping out and the popo graphics falling off during clean up no issues! Didn't get any video, having to much fun.. Didn't get many photos either, but here is a couple.

During clean up the Polaris white sticker below the doors fell off so we removed the one large one on the hood area, I think it looks a lot better..

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

After clean up we did a little articulation test.
