| With a new RZR in my near future, I have started the process of looking at ways to carry stuff in the bed. I had a truck type storage box on my Rhino and loved it and still want the ability to do the same on the RZR. I have seen a few different types out there like the lock and ride small box from Polaris to one that completely covers the bed like a cap. I've searched everywhere and found plenty of pictures of RZR-s with the full topper but don't have a good understanding on how it opens. From the pictures, I can see that the top of the shell opens but is that it? Do the sides open? Once the lid is open, do you have to reach way down inside the box to retreive items that have shifted around? I guess these are silly questions but don't want to waste my money on something I won't be happy with. The link below is a pict of the shell type box I have questions about. Thanks for the help! | only the small top opens, from guys i know that have them they get very hot inside from the motor and exhaust heat so carrying a cooler or food items is not a good idea unless you want things nice and warm I use the center mount polaris box for tools and other items, then carry a cooler on the left side and a gas can on the right. This is still the best way IMO. | |
