this is mine and my wife's new toy. we got rid of a grizzly 660 when we moved up. i have done some mods to it but not as many as most.

Its cool that you got that thing street legal in TN. Have you everthought about going with supperswamper tires that are DOT approved and will give you off road capabillity....

lookin good yeah i like the super swamper idea

its tagged. as far as the tires, i have the stock tires for off roading. the street tires are much quieter on the road. we knock around town on the rzr but nothing major. i picked up my son from school the other day and it was a big hit with the kids.

i dont think i would like the super swamper idea as far as the road is concerned, too noisey.

With the street tires it looks like a little dune buggy...

Hey Cameron what did you have to do to get tags?

as for the street legal stuff, the dealer down here gave me a form showing all the requirements for it to be registered as a "medium speed vehicle". i am sure the requirements are similar because it is basic safety equipment standards by the feds. i would first check with the tag office and see if they even offer any such thing. ask about low and medium speed vehicles or conversion kits.

aside from what was on the rzr stock, this is what i had to do:
turn signal kit
horn
shatter resistant windshield (i used the half windshield myself)
wheels and street tires (personal choice- was not required but the car tires are cheaper than the atv tires and quieter also)
mirrors - one on each side and a center rear view

the stock equipment on the rzr met the other requirements.

i hope this helps. we enjoy running to get a bite to eat and knocking about. one of the good benifits of it, you can run on forestry roads and not get hammered by the wildlife guys.

i will probably go with these tires when i replace my stock tires.
