| Well I was looking over my razor today and notice more play in the front end and look what I found a tie rod end just hanging on, the brake caliper was hold it on. I was lucky I didnt make the trip to Brimstone then find out, but its my dumbass fault that didnt check this stuff sooner. | Looks familiar. I had one let loose at Monte Eagle. I can only say if you by the moose heavy duty you will pay more for a stock item. I called them and bitch about it being stock and they categorized them as heavy duty and they gave me six bucks a piece back. But I still overpaid. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as heavy duty and they gave me six bucks a piece back. KML makes all of these, including the stock OEM ones. IMO go with the cheapest ones. Or you can get crazy and spend up to $300.00. Here are some from Super ATV for about $100.00 including shipping. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Have you had to replace your bearings? I just did with 1500 miles. They defiantly needed it. | |

| Mine were close to being that bad. I had around 1100 when mine started. Got them replaced when I had front bearings replaced. I need to get one and keep it in the toolbox. Many (on RZRForums) have said they just break on the trail when you do not exprect it.
After it goes out of warranty I am going to install a set of HEIM's. | |

| Hey guys I've been thinking of buying mine here . They are not RZR specific but you can get them to fit and with chromoly and Kevlar most definitely bullet proof. The price cant be beat either absolutely no RZR tax here just hard core products. | |

| The only good thing that I found with the moose ends is that the rubber boot it smaller and less proned to getting torn by the carrier than the stockers. My stockers boot got torn and went to crap is why I went to the moose.....However, when I did the s conversion it got converted to a heim joint so I have no need for the original ends... I always carry a spare set of rods and ends with me if anybody breaks down and needs them.... I think I have an extra set of ends I will let you have if you want them ( used, but not worn out)---pm me.. |

| Or, you could buy my slightly used set of ends for $125. Oh yeah, they come with both tie rods AND, a complete steering rack! | |

| The Moose tie rod ends, are exactly the same as stock, in every way, including the rubber boots. All are made by KML. | |

My "heavy duty" Moose ends had smaller boots than the stock. I have one of each, I'll send you a comparison picture if you like. I'm not being a smart a$$, mine were the same except for the boots. |

The tie rod end on the left is the Moose one, The one on the right is the stock.---there is a big difference in the boots. The stock one will rub the carrier knuckle and the Moose one will not. Just so you know the truth about it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| The one on the right is an old part number that KML no longer in production. The one on the left is the exact one that KML makes as a replacement through Moose, All Balls, and OEM. Is it possible distortion of an old tie rod end boot is plausible? Heat? Loose tie stretching the boot? When a post is added that is correct....I will concede, until then, a lil research always helps. Just so you know the truth. | |

Not in this case. The boots of each of those ends are in the same shape as they were when they were new. The moose one on the left being a lot smaller than the stock Polaris one. Anyway, I have no need for either one of them and if anybody wants them you can have them.. |
