| Well even though Polaris thought the 2011 S was better without the rear roll bars i did not. So with help from my master fabricator friend ChrisC and some roll bar bungs i got from Badride that got changed! First you need the right tools; A big ass welder [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] A tubing notcher [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] then somebody who really knows how to use them! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Everything gets cut and fitted first till its perfect. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] then it gets prepped for welding; [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] then everything gets tack welded ; [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] then fully welded; [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Nice welding Chris! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now once i sand ,prep and paint everything it will be done!

You are Right..... I think Polaris really dropped the ball buy removing these bars on the 2011's . I know it gives you a little more room. But i been building race car chassis for over 25 years, and i can tell you these rear bars do help the structural integrity of the S cage..... in a crash , i would rather have them than not have them. if and when ever i get a new model. thay will be added first thing....

| Nice work Chris! I heard that Polaris did away with the rear section of the cage because it would give the rzr more potential to keep on rolling. But I can tell you first hand that I think its better to have it because I was shotgun with mkrazr when we rolled his straight back on T23. It was very a very smooth straight back flip but it was a hard jolt when we landed on the side. The only damage he suffered was a popped bead on the front tire....The cage protected the rear excellent. I think if he did not have that section of cage it would have done a lot more damage to the rzr... |

| Nice work Chris! I don't think Gunny will ever notice that it is just a little crooked on the left side. | |

you can order the rear bar from the polaris dealer, it runs about 160.00 then you need about a foot of 1.75 pipe and 2 bungs. bungs can be ordered from utv crap or bought on ebay for about 20.00 each.

| I agree with Clay. I think it is crooked too.
Ask Stealth about the bars. I believe that is why his did not look to bad after rolling about 300 to 400 feet.

| No its straight, chris is anal about that stuff, took him a hour on each side lining and fitting. I bet its straighter than a factory one | |

| Looks freakin great! I totlly agree with you Gunny, this is what happens when a RZR cage does not have them. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They actually pushed back and then callapsed on the right side. | |
