Subject: 2011 RZR S Fox Shock Springs Tue Nov 30, 2010 4:39 pm
I was on the phone Monday talking to my RZR dealer about setting up my first service. I asked about the Fox Springs on the 2011 sagging after a couple rides and if they had a warranty replacement set for them. According to them it is normal for the springs to sag in the beginning or for around the first 8 hours of ride time and that you would need to adjust them. and after that they should stop sagging. so far I have adjusted them 1 turn this summer and this weekend I will adjust them again to keep my ride hight at around 12 inches. Does this sound normal? I know about the Racer Tech lift kit I just cant get it right now.

I wouldn't worry about it, you should be fine with a little adjustment but the lift will reposition the shock and they wont sag any more.

On my 2010, I had to make several adjustments to keep the stock clearance. I now ride with 13 1/4 in the front. I little rougher, but I had the damping on the shock loose. Not to bad of ride that way.

If you ask me I would say it is not normal for the springs to sag. However, all RZRS fox springs do sag.

I have had a racer tech lift since day one. and my springs have never sagged. i have the same ground clearance since the very first ride.....
without a lift. the shocks are laid over to far stock, putting undue stress on the springs...
