- I scraped the lower links quite a bit but they never hung me up at all. This trail is filled with huge boulders and was a good test for the links. The only damage was strictly cosmetic, nothing some touch up paint won't fix. I did put a slight bend in one of the front lower arms when coming down off a rock a little too hard. I believe these lower arms are mild steel and the uppers are chromoly like the RZR S. The front could have benefitted from skid protection more than the rear. I'm going to make a set of heavy duty chromoly lower arms with some form of skid protection on the bottom of them.
I think Polaris intended the XP to be more of a dune machine but it kicked butt in the rocks!

| Nice pics. Though I have no desire to drive on that type of terrain. Watching others do it is fun but not for me. | |

| Glad to hear it did well. I do not see the lower arms lasting in the rocks. The lower arms on all RZR's are flimsy and are the first thing people should upgrade if they play in the rocks.
My dealer told me Sat that he will not get one in till end of Feb. He has 10 people waiting on it and I told him to let me know so I can see it, but I am not going to pay a high price when the 10 guys start bidding against each other to be the first to own one in this area. He said he is just going to sell it at MSRP and who ever gives him cash first wins. So, I may not even have a chance to see it. | |

| They didn't get the very picture where most of us say there will be problems with the XP. They should have taken a picture of the XP from the side in the exact spot where the last picture was taken. We need to see how bad the trailing arms hit in a rocky section like that. My money says his right rear tire was off the ground before the tire ever got to it. | |
