RZR GAS CAP

Do any of you know where I can find a smaller o.d. gas cap for my rzr???
When I installed my P/A trail doors I could'nt get the cap off.

I bought and installed a set of pro armor doors on mine and had no trouble at all getting my gas cap off.I wonder if they changed the design of the doors or what,there should not be a problem with the cap.

are yours the trail doors?

jerry's (RZRS-EDGE) doors are the trail doors and they must be made just for the 2011 rzr because the tank on them has the cap straight up while 08-10 the cap is at an angle.

But wouldn't have thought they would be much different at the bottom of the door.

Ok I did not realize there were two different kind of door from pro armor for the rzr.

Bush, That must be what the problem is because Chris's trail doors on his 2011 worked fine, my 2009 cap hit hard against the hinge post.

Ron, When I was telling you about the doors I had not tried to put fuel in the rzr yet. Superatv
has one thats billet.. chrome dipped thats smaller but I was looking for a $10 plastic cap????

I wonder if you could just take it off and sand (slowly) the nubs off. Not sure just a suggestion.

I actually want someone to make a extender for it. Have it screw on just like the cap, but it allows you to fuel it from outside the unit after doors are installed. With ProArmor doors, I can not get a full 5g jug in mine. It always has 1/2g or so left in it. Then I have to switch cans to top it off. I may just order a large chunk of clear tubing and hose clamp it around the neck. Still running thru my head (I will make a break through one day while siting on the toilet, that is where the best ideas happen!).
