| I wanted to get some opinions on brake pads. Is it best to go with original pads, if not, what brands are good on the rzr. I have always used EBC's on my ATV's. Are the Superatv pads any good? Just saw on their website I could get all the pads for about 50 bucks. Anyone used them? About how many miles are you all getting on a set of pads. I have around 650 miles on my rzr so far and want to get a jump on having some maintenance items already on hand. | |

| Does anyone know if they make some aftermarket brake pads that have the guide holes as round instead of square? I know there needs to be some free play in there for allowance of mud and grit so the pads dont bind up, but c'mon, a square slot for a round peg? Chatter chatter! I had to slicone mine in because of the brake chatter. I just hope the silicone rubber stays flexible enough to allow for the pads to push in and out. I have a couple hundred miles on it that way and seems to work great with no noise. But if anyone knows of good pads that fit better without the chatter, please?
A side note, I considered tack welding some washers to the brake pads at the "square" slot openings so the pads will glide smoothly and evenly over the round pegs. Whats your thoughts?

| I agree that you can tighten them up so the pads push agains the rotors, but how long before they wear enough befor ethe chatter chatter returns? | |

| I've adjusted mine twice so far. The manual says to tighten until the outer pad seats against the rotor then back off half a turn. I did that first time but still rattled occasionally so next time I did it shy of half a turn, working good now. I can adjust them without taking the wheel off so just takes me about 15 minutes. | |

| I put a dab of silicon on the caliper cup , and a dab on the back of the caliper the pad rides on, and mine don't chatter no more... | |
