Pickett

Anybody heard anything about Pickett? I read on another forum that the sandwich shop is now closed. Carl has said that it is too much to try to make it an official riding area. Im going to take the RZR up there this coming Sat. to Blackhouse and ride up in there to see if the area is posted or not. We are planning on taking the camper up to Blackhouse and staying on the weekend of the 13th, but im not going to pull it up there if the area is all posted. Maybe somebody on here has heard something, save me a trip up there.

They have put signs up, however the signs are all on trails that are public roads...I plan on riding there when ever I want.

Good, thats my plan too...they would have a hard time stopping people from riding up there, especially the local crowd.

Many times signs are posted on private property to thwart off lawsuits if you as a unlawful trespasser was to get hurt or killed and you or your kin tried to sue the land owners.

There is a KY law that will allow land owners to let people have free access to their land with out threat of law suites.
