| I ended up cutting about 5" out of the rear of my stock cage last week. After removing the cut out section it looked pretty thin to me. So I got out my calipers and it measured around .070 the best I remember. That finalized my decision to build one from scratch. I plan to use .095 DOM. I just don't feel safe with the stock cage anymore. | |

here is your best option Jerry. Use your mounting bungs, buy some good DOM and go to work, plus you've already got a volunteer with some tools and skills that wants to help. | |

| I bought some bungs for around $15 each from a place in Athens Tn. I would rather pay that than spend the time to cut the old ones out. Plus, you can sell the old cage if it is still good. | |
