I got shot with a .22 years ago, I didn't even know I was hit until I seen the blood and when the pain started is when the numbness wore off and the feeling returned. I am not endorsing the try and see method.

I had a friend who was a bouncer in a club , he got into a fight and got shot in the ass cheek with a .40 cal.
he said he was ok , he drove his self to the hospital. But he said it burned like shit. like someone put
a blow torch on his ass.... lol!

I was hunting with a friend and he shot me in the foot by accident, glad he was one of the shooters who shoots low, I use to shoot a pistol high and to the right until I was shown how placing ones finger on the trigger effects the accuracy of your shots.

There are tutors on utube showing how finger placement on the trigger effects where your shot goes, and how to correct your pattern or as I say, putting them in the 9 range.
