While cleaning my air filter and box today, I saw the air intake above the exhaust pipe had something in it. It was a plastic bag and some leaves. I usally don't check that to often, but I will from now on. I will be checking it when we stop for breaks on all rides.

Thats not a intake its the exhaust for the belt drive, people put bags in them before washing to keep water from going in it. Could it be you or somebody put it there, cause air blows out of it when the motor is running so it could not suck anything into it.
