| Well , I put my windshield back on today. i hated to , but with this forecast it might be chilly.... I really don't like a windshield , it rubs the paint off my roll cage, and i don't like it. and they attract dust. but what the hell it keeps you warmer. i put duct tape on the bars to keep it from rubbing the paint off. and 2 layers of clear contact paper on the paint so it wont rub. So i am ready.... | |

| I'm with you chris, I also hate running with the windshield but I'm going to have to put in back on too to keep from freezing. I hate being cold more.I thought about putting my full doors back on and turning up my heater so I could wear my bermuda shorts and jesus sandals for this ride. |

| I will be running my half windshield for the same reason.
I even thought about wiring the fan on my intercooler up backwards to get a little heat off of it.

| I got the Summitt Racing heater installed last weekend. The wife has bitched about it since last year. Need some doors to keep the heat in now. | |

What is the part number for it? Do you install a valve to divert some of the water to the heater?

| I installed my wiring harness so I can use my Gerbings heated socks, pants, jacket and gloves, just in case. I will also take plenty of ice in my cooler so my beer won't freeze. | |

At brimstone last year in JAN it was -5 degree's. even with no ice in my cooler. all my water froze.... I had to wrap my water bottles in a towel to keep them from freezing....

Do you install a valve to divert some of the water to the heater? I have the mojave flex - a- lite heater from summit racing also. All of the coolant runs thru the heater, i spliced it in parallel. I installed a shut off valve for in the summer to keep from getting residual heat from it. However, back in June I caked my radiator full of mudd and was overheating so I opened up the shut off valve to the heater and it kept the rzr cool -- burnt my a$$ up, but the rzr was cool. I can tell you this heater is good! I have had it since I've had my rzr and it has taken alot of abuse---its been waterlogged and the fan keeps on blowing. Do you install a valve to divert some of the water to the heater? I got the 991105 28,000 BTU. I put 2 valves on it. 1 going and 1 coming from the engine.
