its snowing here

at my house it is 27 degrees right now and snowing.....
that don't happen to much around here.....

I'll trade you Chris, it's 80 here. Sounds nice but I miss the seasons and the snow.

80 degrees don't sound bad Flash , I just don't like the sand.
I like our mountains and trails.....

it is unusual for it to be this cold here. and it hardly ever snows.
normally it would be dry and in the 40 and 50 during the day this time of year.
and upper 30's at night. We just had a cold front come in.....
its suppose to get down to 13 degrees tonight. and snow tomorrow too.....

I like your mountain / trail riding better also but I have to make do with what I have out here, sand and desert!
Here is a pic of where I rode last weekend, in the desert somewhere near Edwards Aurforce Base, I say somewhere because the is alot of places to ride in the desert. Anyway just a friend and I on a quick 65mile ride. Checked out some silver mines and raced across some dry lakebeds.

Chris, I love that damn hoodie! I wear that hoodie everywhere I ride, everytime I ride!

Its a snowin and a blowin here. Plowed the 1,000 foot driveway, but it's covered over again. Pam will have to do it tomorrow.

cold as hell here wind blowing snowing be out on road since 5:30 am yesterday more riding money at 9:00 am wind chill was - 6 below zero salt freezing in speader beds.

It started snowing yesterday at Windrock. We ended up with about 4-5 inches. I had to wait till close to lunch before they cleared the roads before I left for work. Once I got to Lenior City exit there wasn't any snow much left.

If it snows and sticks here its not more than once a year if that, and usually doesnt happen till late feb. or early march.

I would have liked to stay and ride today but I had to come to work. No snow here in Charleston Tn. When I called my boss and asked if we were closed he asked why, I said because of all the snow. He said what snow? So I waited till the cleared Hwy 330 then I left for work. This is what it looked like around 7:30 this morning at the foot of Windrock.

I loaded it up to take it back home Monday. I shreded a belt Saturday so I have to replace it. I got water in the cover and it smoked it really bad in a mud hole. I knew I would have an issue in deep water if I had to stay in it too long. I needed to re-route my air intake. I was leading and had to break the 2" ice in a mudhole about 60' long. I would break the ice, it would build up under the Razor and stop, I would back up to get a running shot, it would break some more and stop. This went on for several minutes before the water got in. Then the belt got so wet I had to winch out. About 8 miles later the belt came apart. I put it in the garage last night and will start working on it after work today. I have to be ready for Saturday!

Flash, any time you want to come out here and ride you can drive my RZR. I can ride my 4 wheeler.

we got about 10" of snow here. Bitter cold this morning, but the sun has come out and its starting feel better outside.

Ed , if we had 10 inches of snow here. the whole town
would go into hibernation......
No shit when we have 2 inches of snow here every blue moon.
all schools close. and about everything else......
there just not prepared for it here. like yall are.
