Well, it is a hard call. You can buy a new CV from Polaris but it will cost you almost $300. You can't buy the old complete axle assembly. The part number for the assembly crosses over to the new "improved" 2011 axle/cv which is a LOT smaller. I ended up buying a complete Rhino axle. The problem is that you can't just use the CV because the axle splines and therefore the CV is larger than stock. I ended up using the complete axle/CV assembly for the time being. I plan to buy some complete stock rear S axles to use for spares as soon as I find some at reasonable prices on ebay. Until then, I think the Rhinos are the cheapest way to go, for now. Actually, I bought two. That way if I have a axle/cv problem I can just switch out the complete axle assembly in about 20 min and be ready to ride.
