No it will not bind or hurt the axles.
put the 2 inch lift on and it will stiffen it just a bit. then take
the sway bar off and cut it in hafe and through it in the garbage..... 431114

If you have an 11 or newer with stock axles, then i would say a 2" kit. Some of the 3" kits will bind your axles. The front dont bind its more the rear that will bind with a 3" kit. Alot of the kits are adjustable, 2 or 3". You might be able to get by with a 3 in the front and a 2 in the rear. Check for binding!!! And also check your tie rods for binding.. Rocktek or the knockoff ebay kits are good and reasonably priced. I think the racerteck is a good one too.....You can spend 150.00 or 300.00 on a lift kit. They will both give it the same lift...The lift kits that re-locate the top of the shock will be be less apt to bind your axles....28" tires wont kill it that bad, but they will hurt it some, depends on brand and weight of the tire..you can search the forum for tire brands, alot of different opinions on them....this is all just my opinion.

I have the EMP lift kit and it's basically the same as the Racertech lift, but you don't have to drill
holes which makes the install easier!!!

I had 27 XTR's on my S and i went back to 26 Bighorns.
there was quite a bit of power difference.
anything you go bigger than a 26 that is was designed for.
you will loose gear ratio. and bottom end power any way you cut it.. 431114

and any tire that is heavier than a bighorn is going to slow you down.
and most every tire is heavier than a Bighorn.
The reson a lot of folks have changed tires. is cause a Bighorn costs out the Ass... yes1
they are now one of the most expensive tires out there. but there still one of the best... 431114
