| I'm replacing the lower ball joints and while working I noticed the diff seal on the drivers side axle was leaking a little so I thought I would replace it. I went by the dealership and can't purchase just one seal, have to buy the seal kit. Does anyone have the seal number for it or know where I could get one? I don't want to get the seal out then not be able to read the number and have to go with the Polaris kit. All the other seals are dry and look good.

| Holz use to sell them but I don't think they do anymore though, I called a couple weeks ago and they said they were out and may not get them anymore. From what I've read the only way to get them is thru the kit that polaris sales. | |

| I called holz today and got the same answer. I can't believe none of these places has ever bothered to get the sizes of the seal. Guy at holz told me he has tried to find an aftermarket one before and couldn't.
Just today I have read 2 different posts on different forums say that the seal is 30mm ID x 40mm OD x 4mm wide double lip oil seal. I called up a local supplier, signal industrial products, and he finally found an SKS part number. It's SKS30X40X4HMSA7R. He said he had to order them and could have them in a couple days, about 4 bucks each. I told him I would call him back tomorrow, I wanted to verify the ID and OD tonight to make sure.

| A guy gave me a seal from a 3 pack he got from holz. I haven't put it in yet but I've got it sitting to the side. If you need me to take it somewhere to have it measured or something to help let me know. I can pm you my number if needed. | |

| Signal Industrial products in knoxville, got a friend that works there. He said there was over 700 in stock at the crossville warehouse. I was able to verify the 30x40 but I went ahead and trusted what I had read on the net for the width, 4mm. I had to pay shipping so its gonna cost around 18 bucks for the 3. | |
