| What are you guys doing for radios to communicate with each other? Our group is in desperate need of some way of keeping up with each other when riding at windrock. | |

Some use the converted fm radios, most use a good hand held, but none carry a long way in the woods. | |

| Archie and I both have fm radios that came from Mason. They are 50-55 watts. They work really well. There are a lot of times that the guys with hand helds can hear us but they don't have enough power for us to hear them. They really come in handy. It keep us from having to back track to find out what is wrong if someone does show up with the group. | |

| Motorola from Mason. Boosted to 50 watts, reprogrammed to the family channels. They sometimes pick up where the group might be over an hours ride away. Sure have been the best investment I ever made. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They come complete with mic and antenna kit. | |

| We use 2 way radios. They work well for us. I personally use the Garmin Rino 655t, as it doubles as a GPS, among other things. It will communicate with any ol cheapo 2 way as well. Plus you can see where other Rino users are on the map. Worth checking out! | |

| Mason will have to chime in. He only gets them when his radio man has them ready. | |
