Went and drove a 14 xp 1000 and a 15 xp 1000

Here you go Chris, like I said before on a production vehicle the power will vary from machine to machine. Looks like this 15 came up short...

Something certainly had to be wrong with it. From driving the two i drove there was no comparison.....

Edge i went and looked at the whole thread. Now i am starting to see the picture.
So i am calling bullshit on it or they just got a lemon 15 1000. Cause i could feel the difference.
Sounds like someone wanting to sell parts to me.
Just for shits and giggles. When you have time go to a dealer that don't know you , and just Test ride one and hammer down.
I think you will see what i am saying. No better proof and setting in the seat..

Keep in mind i been watching the xp 1000 threads for months. before that thread today. I never heard one person
say there 14 was faster than there 15 , but several people have commented there 15 was faster than there 14.
Take that for what you want....

not that it really matters , both are way more than fast enough.
I am sure there will be drag races in videos soon. honestly the power don't matter to me .
as i said there both fast enough. I like the bigger axles and other improvements of the 15 .
Thats really more important to me...

And not saying if i found some stupid crazy deal on a new 14 , I might still give it a look.
A Black Pearl that is....  The bigger ball joints and steering really don't matter now.
as you know i would be calling select carrier right after i got a 14 or a 15....

I think it could be the new exhaust system with the converter or could just be a bad apple.

sounds like the 15's got gearing will give the feel of more power even if its less than another with more.

Clutching also. And dont forget some loud pipes will add 10hp also

yes im afraid Chris will get  unless he waits for the 16's to come out, heard a turbo and a new bullet proof front diff is in the works

Push button dildo and vibrator in the seat also.

I really wish they would not go turbo. Turbo has lag i don't care what they say , i delt with it in race cars.
Turbo will never have the spunk off the line like natural aspiration.
I would rather them make 120 hp without a turbo.....

I still say the 15 felt faster to me....

Yea I couldnt wait for the next years model so I went ahead and put one in mine

in the passenger seat would be a good way to get a wife or girlfriend to go for a ride

I guess you know you can pick up a small supercharger off a 4-53 detroit diesel eng. on the cheap,few mods (No problem for you) ad a pully here and there,mount that sucker to your present RZR and Yahoo no lag time,Plus you will lag behind no-one..One word of caution,ya might wanna switch pistons that produce a bit lower compression if you use a blower..

I would settle for just a H.O. sticker and that new smell.

Ya Hank many years ago we got old super chargers 671 off old Detroit diesels and converted them and put them
on cars....

16's are going to be bad ass, but the 17's are going to really be the shit

Chris the reason I said the 53 blower as you know it is much smaller than the 71's and would fit a small engine much better,not that it would be that small on a two banger..Just saying..
