| Hey folks...I'm toying with the idea of adding power steering to my RZR. Who's got it and how is it? Also, is it a hard install? | |

| Chuck , i have the unisteer power steering on my S. it is one of the best mods i have done. in the slow rock crawling. it is awsome. and there is no bump steer... it is not that hard to install. you just need to drill 2 holes in the steering colum and wire it up. about 2 hours worth of work. I would never own a sxs with out it. after having it. i have it on my RZR and i had it on a Rhino when i had one. Chris... | |

Ya chuck i have the cam lock too. yes you need to modify the bracket just a bit. to lower it down to clear the power steering unit. not much just a little. its no big deal....

now the parking brake chris is the camlock the best or something better since you had done yours. No teddy , the cam lock is still the best park brake i know of. Also , are you sure you want 30 inch tires? seems like you will loose quite a bit of power with that tall of a tire....

| I have power steering on the Rhino.......love it. I don't really think the RZR needs it, but it would be nice to have on there too. | |

| I agree with you Airborne, it's more of a "luxury item" but I still like the idea. I'm kind of at a crossroads with my RZR. Do I keep moding it, or sell it for an S and start over......................... | |

| Honestly, with the Rhino it is a must for us. My wife about broke her thumbs on more than one occasion. With the S I don't struggle to steer it like the Rhino, so I just don't see the need for it. I might feel differently in the future. It is a very nice feature though, especially if your woman drives it at all. I don't know what all you have done to your RZR, but the biggest advantage I see to the S is the extra travel in the suspension. Other than that I can't see selling a good RZR just to buy an S. Of course I have never been in the position to sell a good regular RZR for an S, so I really should not comment. To each his own. | |

| You are right...long travel would be the main advantage. My "build" is on the build thread.
Probably best to do the power steering and maybe a clutch kit and be happy.
