PB blaster has always done the trick for me for the front axles. And when you put them back in, make sure you use anti-seize.

You can take a tie down strap, the opposite end from the one close to the adjuster, loop it around the big part of the CV joint so that you can hook the metal part to catch the strap. Take the other end and do the same around a sledge hammer, close to the working end. Then just give it a hard jerk. It will pop right out.

That is what I use. I soak them and then just pry on both sides.
I have used anti-seize, axle grease, and I have even siliconed the inner CV edges. I have never found something that will work for a full season. I told all of my buddies to take them out and clean them every few months. None of them do, but they also never work on their own.
Good grief I went through the same mess trying to remove the front axles. I had to soak them with PB Blaster over several days. I tried jerking them out but jerked the damn axle right out of the cv cup. I had a pry bar in there and hammered and hammered and was also worried that I might damage the differential housing! What a nightmare. They finally came out after tapping and tapping and tapping and tapping. I was even praying they would come loose and I believed that helped.

If there's one thing you know about,it's jerking on something.

If that was true, I promise I would be a LOT BETTER OFF TODAY! But noooooooooooooo, I tend to want to do as much damage as possible to my self.

Damn you guys tear up a lot of shit. Polaris needs to come out with a RZR S LE-V. A RZR mini 4x4 maintanence box van that goes on group rides with a couple of RZR torn down and hanging on the walls with a complete set of tools for a complete rebuild in the woods.

Your right Chris ....possible for the first time ..... I have went thru a lot of axles and cv joints. Broken numerous stock ones, gorilla, and now I've added a superatv rhino brand to the list...The rzr has a very weak drive train with the axles, joints and diffs. Found this pict on my computer for when I mailed off some rear stubbs to marty moe for his x project. This pict doesn't show half of all my broken cv/axles. I have only broken 3 axle shafts. The rest has all been cv joints. The boots have alway been good, they mainly break when Im crawling on the rocks and get to spinning and then bit hard traction. Last time, I was backing up T12 when I broke the front rhino cv joint on the driver side. The passanger side joint didnt break...instead the front hub twisted apart on the passanger side...The front diff amazingly held together. Oh ,I was backing up T12 after winching stacrzr over his troubled spot
