| Looks good.... Let us know how it works out. I am about ready to get a GPS. Cause Gunny can't find his way out of a paper Bag. so he is no help when we get lost. I think he is just old and senile..... | |

| LMAO!
I mainly use my GPS to show where I have been later. My Garmin was great for that, since the screen was to hard to read moving anyway. No I can get even more information while having a screen big enough to choose my routes.

| I've been looking at those for awhile. They have ads in most of the off road mags.
You can add sensors for engine parameters(temp, etc.) on some models of the units.

| Got it, turned it on, and hated it. All it does as far as the GPS is create tracks. You can use the tracks from any gpx file but all you see are the tracks and no maps, POI, bodies of water, rivers, or towns. I wrapped it up and shipped it back. Now I am looking at automotive GPS's. I want something with a larger screen then my handheld had and something that can be mounted to the dash instead of a GPS mount. The Lowrance Baja look pretty cool, but the price ($500) made me only see a empty wallet! | |
