Sunnybrook Sandwhich shop @ Pickett Closing

That sucks!! Neighbors think its bad now just wait till they close the place and see what happens when they piss off a few hundred ATV/UTV riders. I am sure some people act up but from my only trip there it was very clean and much respect shown to the neighbors quiet time before 10 pm .

Tell those neighbors that itsmok to shut it down because I have 2 Mexican family's looking into going together and buying the shop and starting a taco stand there between the 28 of them I think they have the cash to buy it!! Go ahead and just try to run a Mexican off!! LOL

Too bad, a few assholes have ruined it for all, if the law would just hide on the road and write a bunch of tickets to the ones on the road he could keep his place open.

That is crappy news, especially considering the owner wants to keep in open. He is a really nice guy. I hope something is worked out.

Guess if i were them i'd tell them complaining i was closing up so i could put up a low budget trailer park/ thinking about rasing a few hoggs too. see how they liked that one! It's His piece of dirt they should be able to use it as they see fit! Damn anti's get me aggravated

I talked to him today. I will be seeing him this weekend, and want to discuss it with him.

As long as he is making money and not breaking the law I would just make sure I had good insurance and them them to shove it.

I talked to him on the phone today, and he says nothing is definite at this point. Apparently, it is an insurance issue that he has to work out. He said to tell everyone to come on back and not worry about it at this point. He seemed optimistic that it would all be worked out.

I really liked the guy. and it was worth going there just for the Dagwood sandwich....

There are a couple more places...not as easy to get to though.

Anybody heard anymore about this? Is it still open?

I talked to the owner a few weeks ago when we were there and he seemed pretty certain that he would remain open. The only difference is he was making everyone sign a release. Seemed like it might be something that his insurance company was making him do.
