| I bought the cheap ARS bearings set for all four corners on Ebay for $98.88, shipped. 1556 miles.....lets see how long they last. I made sure to not damage the outer seals since these dont come with them. | |

| Its best not to screw around with the cheap stuff! Did you not ever learn from "you get what you pay for?" Its a different story if you cant afford the real McCoy but if you can and decide to be frugal and buy the lesser quality part, then I say you pretty damn stupid! |

Here we go again..... Hey ass-hat, I dont give a fuck what you think. Do you have first hand experience with these bearings......no? Then shut the fuck up! The purpose of this topic is to see how they will hold up and share that with this forum. If you dont have anything constructive to add, and without the personal attacks, then stay off my topics. I am trying my best to hold back what I really want to tell you on your, "then I say you pretty damn stupid" comment. I hope that is just your feeble attempt at humor. If you want to discuss this further send me a PM and we will settle it. Better yet I will PM you my cell number.

I dont have a problem by telling the world of how unwise you are by buying subordinate parts Didn't your daddy teach you any better? I'm just trying to help educate the rest of the world and say dont do what my friend Dave did or you will be sorry. Mark my words! I promise I'm right on this on! I've helped a buddy put those bearings in and they dont hold up worth skatt.. Sorry you wasted your money |

| Ok guys, Posting opinion's on what you think about something is perfectly fine but if you feel the need to get personal with another member then do it in person or PM's. Far as my opinion on bearings or other parts goes, a lot of times the factory stuff is not all that hot and a lot of it is not usa made so getting a chance on somebodies else's dime to see how another brand part lasts works for me. I did see some usa made bearings on ebay that looked to be very good, when the time comes im going to try them. Keep us posted Dave on how they hold up. | |

| So I did a lil research and.....
The ASR bearings are made by KLM and they also make All Balls and Polaris OEM wheel bearings. I am not sure if they make all Polaris bearings but it looks like they make the wheel bearings.
I would guess that the ARS could be off a line with less inspection and wider tolerances, compared to All balls, and OEM popo bearings. So I dont know if the info means that much. Time will tell.

| i just had my fronts replaced at the dealer. I only had 1100 miles on her when they went. They were so f-ed up that the dealer had to replace the hubs also. I am dawm glad I had the aftermarket warrenty or it would have cost me dearly. The total bill was close to $1k, but they also had to replace the inner/outter tie rods and the rack.
When i have to do it myself, i dawm sure hope there is something else on the for which I can choose. Some may say that it is just me, but two of my buddies with 09's have bad front bearings also. All of us are around 1k miles. So, change the oil = change the front bearing! That will get old quick, but I hope Polaris has done something about the failures. All the 10's do not have bearing issues.

| Riding in the places we ride with mud, dirt, water and the abuse they get i doubt there is any brand that will go much more than that. You hardly ever hear sand guys having bad bearings. | |

I am afraid Gunny is right. First, these bearings are made for 600 pound machines (four wheelers). Then we beat the shit out of them on rocks. This is after we ride through mud holes. It was not any better with my Rhino. Every thousand miles you had to replace the bearings. I am damn good at changing Rhino bearings.

| Both the front and rear bearings fit some Toyota and Nissan models. I replace them so many time on the Rhino I lost count. If I remember correctly the first change on the Rhino was with 1500 miles. After that is was every 600- 800 miles. The Rhino has 3400 miles on it so I guess I changed them 4-5 times. I did use OEM bearings the first couple of changes but it didnt help with how long they lasted. So I went with the cheaper ones. I dunno exactly why. | |

I think the spindles get worn after two thousand miles. That is why the first set last 1500 and 600 there after.

| Hey , I thought this was a RZR forum! If you grease your RZR bearings, they will last a lot longer! People say that they are not greasable but you can force grease into the center crack with your fingers and you can see that it is taking grease by seeing the old grease being forced out the seals. It takes patients, but they will last longer. I replaced my first set at 2200 miles. They didn't really need it but I just wanted everything to be new when I went with s - conversion kit. |
