| With Big Horns you can have shitty tires for over two thousand miles..... No way do they grip as good as XTR's . No way. Sorry...... Big Horns are tougher I will give you that. | |

They may not in mud. but rock crawling and most stuff we do. i have not been able to tell any difference. I do know they will walk out of a ditch better than an XTR. they have more side bite and thats a fact....

I ran Bighorns on the same 4 wheeler that I have the Growlers on. There isn't any weight difference???????????? no because the growlers you have are only 6 ply and 25''. Those 26'' 8 ply rockers you have are heavy as hell, a good 48 -50 lbs heavier than a set of bighorns. Jerry was talking about the weight difference between a 4 wheeler and a Razor is why there was a difference in the wearing between them. What I meant was that I was comparing Bighorns, which I have ran since 07 on a Renegade to the Pit Bull Growlers that I have on a Renegade. Same bike, just different tires. I have no experience with the growlers but I have only heard good things about them. I thought you were comparing the rockers to the bighorns on the quad and I know that the rockers wear a lot faster on my rzr than the BH did and the only way I could make sense of you saying the opossite of what I know to be true is it that the weight difference of the quad vrs a rzr must have made a difference---( I know just bs but an attempt to make sense of what you were sayin-just confused on what tire we are talking about.. I can tell you that everybody I know that run the rockers around here end up not liking them..me, kybodyguy, I think gunny wasn't too impressed either and also that guy with the pink rzr I think didn't care for them..... I have had them on everything but snow, but they are so worn down now Im sure they will suck...My advice to you is to sell them Rockers. |

What did you say...................... I said if you want a tire that will last for two thousand miles then Big Horns are a great tire. If you want something with some grip I would buy a different tire. Two thousand miles?????????? Maybe if it is a spare that stays mounted in the back. I can't get a full riding season out of them. My Bighorns were new when I got my RZR and the back ones are over half worn out. I doubt that they will make it through May when I stop riding till fall. However, the Pit Bull Growlers on my Renegade are going to make it easy and they have been on for over a year.

If this were true I would give you a name of a ol' friend of mine to ride with on Rockwood Mt. and besides low speed,he gets stuck if you spit on the trail--Plus you can save on fuel cost if your machine gets at least 4 mpg all days ride less than a gallon..I'll not mention the brand of SxS he rides but rimes with shineo.. |

No, I rode my Harley all summer. Hitting that tree last week in your Rhino/Can Am must have banged up your little pee brain. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
